Amber Eppinette Saunders
The founder and Soprano vocalist for 11th hour, Amber Eppinette Saunders, hails from Sterlington, LA. As a pastor’s kid, Amber grew up surrounded by music and the message of the Gospel from a very young age. As a teenager, she felt God’s calling into music and writing; a calling that would lead to the creation of 11th hour. It was upon the completion of her first song, entitled ‘Adam’s Fall,’ that the seventeen year old recognized the vast difference between knowing about God and having a personal relationship with Him. That realization led to her surrendering her life to Him, and fully embracing the mission He placed before her to minister through music.
Since that time, Amber has been a part of composing over 200 songs, many of which have been cut by 11th Hour as well as artists such as The Martins, The Whisnants, The Bowling Sisters, and many more. She has also enjoyed a number of accolades as a vocalist, including several fan award nominations for Soprano of the Year, and recently, a Songwriter of the Year nomination. Amber completed a diploma in Christian Counseling, which allows her to serve others in a greater capacity as she ministers at women’s conferences and concert events.
God has blessed Amber abundantly in her personal life as well. She married her husband turned bandmate, Garrett, in November of 2019 and the couple welcomed their precious son, Vinny, in 2022. When they’re not traveling, the family enjoys attending and serving at their home church Trinity Baptist in Asheville, NC.
